DataTools’ address capture technology increases efficiency by streamlining address entry, whether that’s online during checkout, at POS or within a CRM. This technology also ensures that accurate data is submitted at the front-end thus minimising downstream issues. Improving not only the quality of your address data captured but also the user experience by shortening data-entry time.
DataTools advanced ‘Human Touch’ logic enables batches of existing address data to be cleansed in real-time with no human interaction required.
The Human Touch™ logic will take the full address and intelligently make sense of information in the same intuitive way a human would.
With the inclusion of intelligent location awareness, fuzzy logic, phonetic, bordering localities and many other methodologies, DataTools is able to deliver the most advance address quality solution available.
Presenting suggestions does dramatically improve the quality of the addresses found – but people make mistakes that change what is suggested or stops suggestions altogether! This results in 10 to 15% of addresses being entered with errors.
But DataTools doesn’t stop here…
How? There are three scenarios when it comes to address entry:
User starts typing an address correctly, suggestions come up and the appropriate address is selected – a totally straightforward process.
User starts typing address and makes a basic typo. The inbuilt fuzziness of our predictive logic allows for basic misspellings so it can continue to provide the relevant suggestions and the appropriate address is selected.
Lastly, the user starts typing the address, making multiple errors that stops the suggestions (or they refuse to select a suggestion). In this instance we recommend allowing the user to input their version of the address. This is where the unique DataTools Human Touch™ approach comes into play.
DataTools Human Touch™ logic takes the full address as entered by the user and intelligently makes sense of information in the same intuitive way a human would. Cleansing the address, verifying it and repairing it, giving you the best data quality available.
Predictive logic that allows for user misspellings and understands the different ways an address might be entered. Fuzziness built in.
For users who choose to use the suburb next door to the one they live in (because it’s slightly more up-market) or adding “Vale” or “Heights” to make their suburb sound grander than it is.
For the user who makes too many mistakes, or decides refuses not to select from suggestions.
Sometimes it’s not the user but a browser that insists it knows better. Features like AutoFill often make mistakes or help a user enter their incorrect address even faster. Not to worry, DataTools has it covered.
